Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member for Hawthorns Northampton Care Home in Upton, Northampton. You will support dining service and assist residents with meals, helping create a welcoming, well-managed dining environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate resident care, attention to hygiene, and adherence to SOPs, with opportunities to grow within a supportive team. DBS disclosure and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Competenze

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Compassion and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents.
• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel is desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Mansioni

• Support residents with choosing their meal options at dining time.
• Ensure dining tables are set according to SOPs.
• Keep front of house clean, tidy and well-presented; remove and replenish dirty crockery.
• Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits, finger food and fruit are available in the bistro areas.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals

Other responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements.
