Bankside Hotel is seeking a passionate Food and Beverage Assistant / Waiter to join our team in London. You will greet guests, manage reservations, and support service from the floor to the kitchen, ensuring a seamless guest experience throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a high-paced restaurant environment.
• Full-time availability; flexible to mornings, day and evening shifts.
• Ability to provide guests with up-to-date information on food and beverages.
• Knowledge of food and table preparation techniques.
• Able to communicate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant and direct them to tables.
• Manage reservations and keep slots up to date.
• Arrange tables and assist with floor setup.
• Take orders, deliver food, and assist guests during meals.
• Assist chefs by sourcing ingredients from stock or kitchen.
• Keep bar stocked with beverages.
• Clear tables after events and help close the restaurant.

What you will be doing?

• Greeting guests as they arrive at the restaurant, directing guests to tables and providing menus.
• Booking any reservations and keeping reservations slots up to date
• Arranging tables and assisting with the preparation of floor
• Taking orders and delivering food to guests and assist them during their meal
• Assisting Chefs by sourcing ingredients from the stock room or the kitchen
• Keep the bar and drinks stocked with beverages at all times
• Clearing down tables and chairs after the events as well as assist in closing the restaurant after a shift

Requirements

• Previous experience at a high pace restaurant environment
• Avaliable full time, flexible to do morning, day and evening shifts
• Ability to provide guests with the up to date information and advice on food as well as beverage
• Knowledge of food and table preparation techniques
• Ability to demonstrate ownership and communicate effectively with team members
• Good level of English and communication skills. (Other languages are always desirable!)
