Job summary

Bankside Hotel in London is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead kitchen sections, ensure prep for service, and support senior chefs in delivering top-quality dishes. You will supervise junior staff and maintain clean, organized sections while adhering to health and safety standards.

The role offers a base salary of £32,960.00+ plus a Company Tronc Scheme, with the opportunity to contribute to a vibrant, culturally rich hotel environment in central London.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial or restaurant kitchen experience.
• Good level of English and clear communication.
• Strong eye for detail and organization.
• Able to supervise and train junior chefs.

Responsibilities

• Effectively run and supervise allocated kitchen sections to required standards.
• Ensure proper preparation of the designated section for service.
• Maintain inventory, manage waste, and uphold best practice.
• Keep designated sections clean and organized at all times.
• Support Executive and Sous Chefs in delivering food to standard.
• Guide, train and delegate tasks to Junior Chefs and support their development.

What You Will Be Doing

• Effectively run and supervise any or allocated kitchen sections to the required standards
• Ensure that all the preparation of the designated section is complete and ready for service
• Keep a good stock of our inventory and manage waste in best practice
• Ensuring that the designated sections are cleaned and organized
• Support the Executive and Sous Chefs in delivering the required standard of food
• Guide, train and delegate jobs to Junior Chefs as well as support their development
• Comply with all health and safety regulations of Bankside
