Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds is seeking a friendly Food and Beverage Assistant for casual, on-site work. You will help prepare and serve food and drinks, maintain dining areas, and deliver excellent guest service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will support the F&B team with setup, restocking, and event support, ensuring high standards and a welcoming atmosphere for guests across shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience is desirable but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and delivering high standards.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas to health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
• Support the F&B team with setting up tables, restocking supplies, and inventory tasks.
• Assist with coordination and execution of events and functions.
• Ensure areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.

• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.

• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.

• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is desirable but not mandatory.
