Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Chester is seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant as an Occasional Worker to deliver outstanding guest service in a lively hotel environment.

You will assist with food and beverage service, maintain dining area cleanliness, and support events and daily operations while working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and serving of food and beverages.
• Maintain clean, organized dining areas per health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent guest service and address inquiries or complaints promptly.
• Support team with setup, clearing tables, restocking, and inventory tasks.
• Assist in coordinating events and special functions.
• Ensure areas are well-stocked and presented neatly at all times.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. As a Food andBeverage Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our guest experience, delivering exceptional service and ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
