Job summary

Verde Resorts is seeking two Food and Beverage Assistants to join the Front of House team at Dundonald Links, Gailes. The roles offer permanent positions with a competitive hourly rate of £12.71 and require working about 40 hours across five days for the full-time post and 32 hours across four days for the part-time post.

Both roles are based on site at our Gailes resort, with flexibility to cover weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in food & beverage or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Driving licence is advantageous for travel to the resort.

Responsibilities

• Become an integral part of the Front of House team, delivering a welcoming guest experience.
• Take orders accurately and deliver promptly; serve food and beverages with quality service.
• Assist with clearing, cleaning and resetting tables to high standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of bar and restaurant areas to five-star standards.
• Support stock rotation and restocking of service areas; handle cash with EPOS.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold Verde Resorts standards and guest expectations.

Job description

We are looking for two Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at Dundonald Links in Gailes. Hourly rate rate of £12.71.

These are both permanent positions.

First position to work full time hours. This will be 40 hours across 5 days, usually Monday to Friday, but may include weekends and bank holidays.

Second position to work part time hours. This will be 32 hours across 4 days, usually Monday to Thursday, but may include weekends and bank holidays.

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

About the role

Main Responsibilities:

• Become an integral part of the Front of House team, contributing to a welcoming and professional guest experience.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring quality service and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables within the restaurant.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all bar and restaurant areas to a five-star standard.
• Support accurate and efficient stock rotation and restocking of service areas.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the EPOS system.
• Assist with the swift collection of glasses and tableware to maintain a tidy and professional environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to uphold company standards and exceed guest expectations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar Food and Beverage or hospitality role is preferred.
• Positive work ethic with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A driving licence and the ability to drive is advantageous for travel to and from the resort.
