Job summary

CDS Labour (Group UK) Ltd is recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer for a well-established seafood processing and manufacturing business near Roche, Cornwall. This hands-on role maintains production equipment, responds to breakdowns and carries out planned maintenance to keep the site running safely and efficiently.

You will work 40 hours per week on Monday to Friday, with early and day shifts and some weekend support as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a multi-skilled maintenance or engineering role.
• Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills.
• Some electrical maintenance and diagnostic experience.
• FMCG, food manufacturing or fast-paced production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery.
• Responding quickly to mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
• Maintaining Multivac packaging equipment and other food-processing machinery.
