Job summary

SolviT Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a Leicester-based site (LE5). The role offers a salary of £45,500 per year, working Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:30, in a permanent, full-time capacity. The site requires your own transport as public links are not available.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance experience in FMCG or heavy goods sectors.
• Willingness to work the on-call rota.
• Stable career history with good teamwork and enthusiastic attitude.

Responsibilities

• Reactive & preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Regulate downtime by working with production staff on preventative maintenance.
• Using testing/measuring equipment while machines are running to ensure smooth operations
• Participating in the emergency on call rota
