Job summary

Weetabix in Burton Latimer is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader to lead the shift team on the factory floor, ensuring safe, compliant production from incoming materials to finished goods. This role requires visible leadership on the floor for 80% of the time and deputising for the shift manager as needed.

You will coach the team to meet safety, quality, productivity and cost targets, oversee MOS, and drive improvements through collaborative methods.

Qualifications

• Team management experience in FMCG or similar environments.
• Knowledge of business improvement tools and techniques.
• IOSH managing safety or willingness to work towards.
• Manual Handling.
• Health and Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Be on the factory floor for 80% of the time and support the shift manager on the floor.
• Lead the team to meet safety, quality, productivity, cost and delivery KPIs.
• Provide direct line management for the allocated team, excluding grievance/disciplinary meetings.
• Coach the team to meet objectives and adhere to standards.
• Oversee training and development to maintain necessary skills and coverage.
• Deploy resources effectively to achieve results.
• Manage the daily MOS (Management Operating System).
• Support improvement projects using collaborative tools and processes.
