Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for our Shepton Mallet site to lead a portfolio of process-improvement projects and drive tangible improvements on the production floor.

You will investigate operational challenges, collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams, and deliver sustainable solutions that improve efficiency, reliability and safety, with hands-on support as needed.

Qualifications

• This role requires prior engineering experience in an FMCG chilled or food-production environment.
• Clear communication, presentation and IT skills are essential.
• Mechanical and electrical qualification at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required.
• 17th Edition electrical qualification is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a varied portfolio of process-improvement projects.
• Investigate operational challenges and implement sustainable, practical solutions.
• Build cross-functional relationships and a network of support.
• Present milestones, updates and performance reports to stakeholders.
• Train and support Engineering and Operational teams to embed improvements.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to maintain service levels.
