Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for our Shepton Mallet site to lead a portfolio of process-improvement projects and drive tangible improvements on the production floor.

You will investigate operational challenges, collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams, and deliver sustainable solutions that improve efficiency, reliability and safety, with hands-on support as needed.

Qualifications

• This role requires prior engineering experience in an FMCG chilled or food-production environment.
• Clear communication, presentation and IT skills are essential.
• Mechanical and electrical qualification at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required.
• 17th Edition electrical qualification is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a varied portfolio of process-improvement projects.

Your opportunity

As Engineering Project Manager, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of process-improvement projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with Engineering, Operations and wider business teams, you will investigate recurring issues, develop workable solutions and deliver changes that improve efficiency, reliability and service.

• The flexibility and resilience to perform well under pressure while remaining a dependable team player.
