Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. in Shepton Mallet is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead process-improvement initiatives within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will own projects from concept through to completion, working closely with Engineering, Operations and wider teams to deliver practical, lasting improvements that boost efficiency and reliability. You will build strong cross-functional relationships, keep stakeholders informed with clear updates and provide hands-on engineering

Your opportunity

As Engineering Project Manager, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of process-improvement projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with Engineering, Operations and wider business teams, you will investigate recurring issues, develop workable solutions and deliver changes that improve efficiency, reliability and service.

What will help you succeed

• Previous engineering experience in an FMCG chilled or food‑production environment.
• Experience working in a customer focused operation.
• A mechanical and electrical qualification at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• 17th Edition electrical qualification.
• Confident communication, presentation and IT skills.
• A logical, decisive approach to problem‑solving, with strong attention to detail.
• The flexibility and resilience to perform well under pressure while remaining a dependable team player.
