Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited in Manchester is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead a portfolio of process-improvement projects on a fast-paced FMCG site. You will combine hands-on engineering with project leadership to deliver improvements that boost production efficiency, equipment reliability and product quality on the production floor.

You will own projects from concept through to implementation, collaborating with Engineering, Operations and Hygiene teams, tracking milestones,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engineering improvements within FMCG or food manufacturing.
• NVQ Level 3 in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 17th Edition electrical qualification.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and process-improvement projects from concept to completion.
• Investigate recurring production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations and Hygiene teams.
• Track project milestones, report progress and communicate results.
• Train and support teams to embed improvements on the floor.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to maintain production performance.
