IPL - Part of the Asda Family in Sittingbourne is recruiting an Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering Department, ensure safe production and drive continuous improvement across maintenance, projects and facilities.

You will manage technicians, uphold IPL and BRC standards, coordinate with site leadership, and deliver reliable plant performance through HACCP-aligned practices, risk assessments, and proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in engineering such as Degree, HNC/HND with relevant industry experience.
• Proven leadership in FMCG environments and ability to manage skilled teams.
• Knowledge of HSE requirements and safe systems of work.

Responsabilités

• Manage Engineering and Machine Technician teams to support production operations.
• Ensure engineering standards align with IPL procedures and BRC requirements.
• Oversee site facilities maintenance and health and safety compliance.
• Lead maintenance planning, inspections, and contractor management.
• Drive improvements for productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
