Job summary

Stafffinders is seeking an Electrically-biased Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced FMCG operation in West Lothian. You will perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement improvements to keep production running smoothly.

You'll bring a time-served background or recognised engineering qualification, 18th Edition, and solid experience with PLCs, motors, drives and sensors. Immediate right to work in the UK and references are required.

Qualifications

Time-served Electrical Engineer or recognised engineering qualification.
18th Edition Certification.
Experience within a UK-based manufacturing, production, industrial, or FMCG environment.
Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Immediate Right to Work in the UK.
Up-to-date contact details for at least 2 references.

Responsibilities

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production equipment.
Diagnosing and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
Fault-finding on PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems.
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects.
Ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
