Job summary

CV Consulting Ltd is seeking a Contract Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to maintain and service food process machinery. You will fault find on PLC systems and perform electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of production equipment, contributing to reduced downtime.

The role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights) with an outside IR35 option. Relevant experience in FMCG environments is beneficial and you will join a focused maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical knowledge and fault finding ability.
• Experience with fault finding on PLCs is preferred.
• Background in food or FMCG is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems to minimise downtime.
• Work with pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, valves, ovens, mixers, and refrigeration.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to avoid breakdowns.
