Job summary

Franco Manca, part of The Fulham Shore PLC, is seeking a Senior Head Chef to lead the kitchen and deliver high-quality Italian dishes in a bustling restaurant environment.

You will direct a kitchen team, maintain standards, train staff, and ensure efficient operations while upholding health and safety. The role is based in a Franco Manca location, offering growth and strong teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a busy kitchen in a restaurant.
• Excellent knowledge of Italian cooking and ingredients.
• Strong leadership and ability to train and develop staff.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team and ensure food quality and service standards.
• Manage kitchen operations from prep to service and stock control.
• Ensure hygiene, health and safety compliance.
• Be hands-on—cook, train, and continuously improve kitchen performance.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

• £15.40 – 20.40 per hour OTE (including service charge and delivery bonus - our data says you can earn between £1 to £4 per hour on top of your pay)

What You’ll Do

• As Senior Pizza Head Chef, you’ll be the master of the kitchen – leading your team to create incredible food while keeping everything running smoothly.
• You’ll take charge of the kitchen, ensuring every pizza is cooked to perfection and every dish meets our high standards.
• Inspire and develop your team, helping them grow their skills and passion for food.
• Manage kitchen operations, from food prep and stock control to hygiene and health & safety.
• Be hands‑on – whether you’re crafting pizzas, training your team, or finding ways to make the kitchen even better.
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth service and an exceptional experience for every guest.
