Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking a Facilities Management Assistant (Band 2) to support in-house services across designated areas, including wards, admin areas and retail outlets. The role involves cleaning, catering, portering, bed making and laundering, ensuring a clean, hygienic environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Salary is £12.92 per hour (£25,272 per annum pro rata). Flexible shift patterns are available with unsocial hours payments.
This post will include Unsocial Hours Payments as follows: Saturday - Time plus 41% of the salary Sunday - Time plus 83% of the salary Brockfield House / Thurrock The following shift patterns are available (shifts can be further discussed at interview) Thurrock Monday to Sunday 7.30am - 10.30am 11am - 2.30pm 4pm - 7pm Saturday and Sunday 8am - 10.30am Brockfield House, Wickford Monday to Friday 8am - 1pm Monday to Sunday 2.30pm - 7.30pm Saturday and Sunday 8am - 2pm Clean all areas required in the work schedules which include toilets, corridors, offices, clinic rooms, store rooms. etc which includes dusting, mopping, wiping, changing bins.Main duties of the job To participate in the provision of the in-house FM services to a specified area within the Trust, which may include in-patient wards, admin/clinical areas and retail outlets. The FM services comprises of the cleaning, catering, portering, bed making and laundering services, however some of these services are unit specific.
