Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting fluent Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisors to work across Welsh-medium secondary schools and Further Education colleges in Newport and surrounding areas, with immediate starts available.

Deliver pre-set work, maintain a calm learning environment, manage behaviour, support learners through Welsh, and cooperate with teachers to ensure learning continuity. Flexible short-term, long-term and ongoing placements are offered with a competitive daily pay.

Qualifications

• Fluent Welsh (spoken and written).
• Experience with secondary-aged pupils and/or Further Education learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set work across a variety of subjects and curriculum areas.
• Maintain a calm, focused and engaging learning environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school or college procedures.
• Support learners with their studies through the medium of Welsh.
