Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Goole-based FLT Driver & Warehouse Systems Operative. You will operate a forklift, record stock movements in the WMS, and support despatch and stock-control activities in a fast-paced environment.

Role includes working with SAP/WMS systems, maintaining safety standards, and collaborating with the team to meet daily targets. 6-month contract with potential extension, full-time hours, and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating FLTs in a warehouse/logistics setting.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• SAP experience would be highly desirable, but any WMS experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

Goole | £15.17 per hour + Overtime at 1.5x | 6-Month Contract with Potential to Extend

Are you an experienced FLT Driver who is confident using warehouse management systems? Looking for a role where you'll be trusted to keep operations moving, work with a great team, and have the opportunity to secure a longer-term position?

We're recruiting for a leading manufacturing and logistics operation in Goole, and we're looking for reliable, safety-focused Warehouse Operatives with FLT experience to join their busy team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, is comfortable working with warehouse systems such as SAP, and wants to be part of a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Shift Pattern

Rotating shifts:

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm

What you'll be doing

As an FLT Driver & Warehouse Systems Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials and stock are moved efficiently throughout the warehouse.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse
• Picking and preparing orders for despatch
• Using warehouse management systems to record stock movements and transactions
• Updating inventory records and supporting stock control activities
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping
• Working closely with colleagues to achieve daily operational targets

What we're looking for

We're particularly interested in candidates who have:

• Previous experience operating FLTs within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• SAP experience would be highly desirable, although experience with any warehouse management system will be considered
• Good attention to detail and accurate stock handling skills
• A strong commitment to health and safety
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Bonus Points For

• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume warehouse environments
