Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited is recruiting for a manufacturing client in Runcorn for a FLT warehouse operative (Counterbalance & Reach). You will pick goods, manage stock, and assist with loading/unloading to support the shipping team.

The role is 37.5 hours per week, 8am–4pm, paying £13.50 per hour. A valid FLT counterbalance and reach license, basic computer skills, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• FLT reach/counterbalance license required.
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment is essential.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Outlook is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick goods for shipment as per instructions.
• Stock control and correct storage of goods.
• Load and unload goods safely.
• Carry out forklift safety checks.
• Liaise with the team leader/manager.
• Follow 5S in the despatch area.
• Adhere to health and safety onsite.
• Support senior team with duties.

Job Title

FLT warehouse operative (Counterbalance & Reach)

Gap Personnel are currently recruiting for our Manufacturing client based in Runcorn. The main responsibilities will be to pick goods from stock (counterbalance and reach trucks, via manual picks) reporting into the shipping team and completing general warehouse duties including any loading and unloading

Pay Rate

£13.50hr

Location

WA7 (Runcorn)

Hours

37.5hrs, 8am – 4pm, 7.5hrs per day BREAKS – 30min 2 x 15 min breaks

Duties

• Ensure all goods are correctly picked for shipment as per instructions on IFS pick list
• Stock control, ensure all goods are stored correctly
• Ensure goods are loaded correctly, and unloaded correctly
• Safety checks on forklift vehicle
• Liaise with team leader/ manager
• Follow 5s procedure in despatch area
• Adhere to all health and safety onsite
• Any additional l duties set out senior team
