Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established logistics business in their search for a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver to work in Wrexham.

As a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver you will receive, unload and check incoming goods using a counterbalance FLT, pick, pack and dispatch customer orders, and drive a company curtain-side van while maintaining health and safety standards. This is a temp-to-perm role with rotating shifts (6:00am-2:30pm and 2:00pm-10:30pm).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse and FLT role.
• Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence.
• Full UK Driving Licence (aged over 25, with no more than 3 penalty points for insurance purposes).
• Ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and check incoming goods using a counterbalance FLT.
• Accurately pick, pack and dispatch customer orders.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and drive a company curtain-side van.
• Operate warehouse equipment and line feed onto a customer production site.

Job Role: As a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver, you will be responsible for receiving, unloading and checking incoming goods using a counterbalance FLT against delivery documentation, accurately picking, packing and dispatching customer orders, loading and unloading vehicles safely, driving a company curtain-side van, operating warehouse equipment, and line feeding onto a customer production site. The Warehouse Operative will work to deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and health and safety.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse and FLT role
• Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence
• Full UK Driving Licence (aged over 25 with no more than 3 penalty points for insurance purposes)
• Ability to work rotating shifts
