Job summary

The Best Connection Group Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operator to load, unload and move goods in a warehouse environment. You will operate Reach Forklift Trucks safely, pick and place pallets, and maintain stock accuracy with FIFO/LIFO as required.

Daily checks and fault reporting are essential, along with teamwork to hit targets. Benefits include weekly pay, online payslips, pension contributions, and pro-rata annual leave.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently following procedures.
• Load, unload, move and stack goods in warehouse.
• Pick and put away pallets with correct stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO).
• Carry out goods in/out and order picking.
• Complete daily equipment checks and report faults promptly.
• Assist with stock checks and cycle counts.
• Follow company policies to maintain quality and safety.

Job description

• Operate Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations.
• Load, unload, move, and stack goods within the warehouse or storage facility.
• Pick and put away pallets accurately, ensuring correct stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO as required).
• Carry out general warehouse duties including goods in, goods out, and order picking.
• Complete daily equipment checks and report any faults or damages to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with all health and safety standards.
• Assist with stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory control activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when handling and recording stock movements.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Pay Rates for FLT Reach:

• £15.75 per hour
