Job summary

Smart Solutions in Rugby is recruiting for an FLT Operative / Production Operative. The role involves 50% FLT driving and 50% manual production work, moving materials and supporting production daily tasks.

Hours are 7:00am–7:00pm with a 4 on/4 off pattern and occasional overtime paid at time and a half. A valid FLT licence and safety focus are essential for this physically active position.

Qualifications

• Valid external FLT licence is essential.
• Experience with health and safety procedures and SSOW.
• Able to work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
• Physically capable of manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate baling machines safely and efficiently.
• Operate FLT equipment to move materials across the site.
• Follow health and safety procedures and SSOW.
• Report hazards or risks to management.
• Support production targets by handling materials accurately and on time.
• Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
• Undertake manual work as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Follow company procedures and site rules at all times.
