Job summary

Randstad Inhouse Services in Skelmersdale is seeking a FLT Driver (Reach & Counterbalance) to operate forklifts and support warehouse operations. This temporary-ongoing role offers a 40-hour week with rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00) and requires flexibility.

Applicants must hold a valid Reach and Counterbalance license, have at least 6 months of recent operational experience, and be fluent in English. Weekly pay and on-site parking are available.

Job Overview

Position: FLT Driver (Reach & Counterbalance)

Salary: £15.72 per hour (OT 1.5X multiplier available)

Location: Skelmersdale (WN8 9PE)

Contract Type: Temporary - ongoing

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Rotational (06:00 - 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00) - must be flexible for both

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to move pallets efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Perform essential warehouse tasks, including stock replenishment, put-aways, and bringing stock to production lines.
• Complete tasks accurately to meet site targets and KPIs.
• Assist with manual lifting as and when required to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid, in-date Reach and Counterbalance accredited license.
• Minimum of 6 months of operational experience within the last 2 years.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working towards targets or KPIs.
• Fluency in English (speaking, writing, and reading).
