Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking dedicated Forklift Truck Drivers to join our client's site in Skelmersdale. This is a temporary, ongoing role offering ongoing work in a modern warehouse with clean facilities and support.

You will operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts, move pallets, replenish stock, and ensure timely deliveries to production lines. The role requires a valid forklift license, English fluency, and the ability to work 40 hours per week with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Reach forklift driver license.
• Valid Counterbalance forklift license.
• 6 months of forklift operating experience in the last 2 years.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to move pallets.
• Perform warehouse tasks including stock replenishment and put-aways.
• Bring stock to production lines and meet site KPIs.
• Assist with manual lifting when required.

Job Overview

• Position: FLT Driver (Reach & Counterbalance)
• Salary: £15.72 per hour (OT 1.5X multiplier available)
• Location: Skelmersdale (WN8 9PE)
• Contract Type: Temporary - ongoing
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Shift Pattern: Rotational (06:00 - 14:00 & 14:00 - 22:00) - must be flexible for both

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to move pallets efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Perform essential warehouse tasks, including stock replenishment, put-aways, and bringing stock to production lines.
• Complete tasks accurately to meet site targets and KPIs.
• Assist with manual lifting as and when required to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid, in-date Reach and Counterbalance accredited license.
• Minimum of 6 months of operational experience within the last 2 years.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working towards targets or KPIs.
• Fluency in English (speaking, writing, and reading).
