Adepto Technical Recruitment is seeking a reliable FLT Operator to safely operate forklift trucks within our warehouse and production areas, supporting smooth operations.

The role involves moving goods, loading/unloading, putting away stock, and assisting with general warehouse duties while adhering to health and safety procedures.

Formación

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Experience operating FLTs in warehousing/manufacturing.
• Good awareness of health and safety practices.
• Able to work rotating shifts.
• Reliable, punctual and capable of working independently or in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Operate Counterbalance and Pivot Steer (Flexi/Bendi) forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and move materials around the site.
• Put away and retrieve stock from racking locations.
• Support movement of raw materials and finished products between areas.
• Carry out daily pre-use FLT safety checks and report defects.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment and comply with site safety procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Operator to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklift trucks to move, load, and store goods within the warehouse and production areas while supporting the smooth flow of operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance and Pivot Steer (Flexi/Bendi) forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and transport materials around the site.
• Put away and retrieve stock from racking locations.
• Support warehouse and production teams with the movement of raw materials and finished products.
• Carry out daily pre-use FLT safety checks and report any defects.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with site health & safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

Requirements

• Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous experience operating FLTs in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Good awareness of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
