Job summary

Adepto Technical Recruitment is seeking a reliable FLT Operator to join our client’s site in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will safely operate forklift trucks to move, load, and store goods within warehouse and production areas, while supporting smooth operations.

Key responsibilities include operating Counterbalance and Pivot Steer forklifts, loading/unloading, stocking, and daily safety checks.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence or certification required.
• Valid Pivot Steer (Flexi/Bendi) FLT licence required.
• Previous experience operating forklift trucks in warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Good awareness of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance and Pivot Steer (Flexi/Bendi) forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and transport materials around the site.
• Put away and retrieve stock from racking locations.
• Support warehouse and production teams with movement of raw materials and finished products.
• Carry out daily pre-use FLT safety checks and report defects.
• Ensure all work aligns with site health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
