Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited is seeking experienced FLT Drivers / Warehouse Operatives for a busy Trafford Park warehouse in Manchester (M17).

Role involves operating Counterbalance and Reach FLT trucks, loading/unloading, picking and packing with handheld scanners, data entry and stock checks, and supporting general warehouse operations. Day shifts 8:00am–4:00pm, pay £13.47 per hour. Ongoing work with temp-to-perm opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT licences required.
• Minimum 12 months’ FLT driving experience.
• Previous warehouse experience and ability to use handheld scanners.
• Basic IT skills and PC literacy.
• PPT experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and in a team.

We are currently recruiting experiencedFLT Drivers / Warehouse Operativesfor a busy warehouse environment for our client based in Trafford Park, Manchester (M17).

This is a great opportunity for reliable and experienced candidates looking for ongoing work with a fixed day shift pattern and the potential of a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating Counterbalance and Reach FLT trucks
• Loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse
• Picking and packing orders using handheld scanners
• Carrying out data entry and stock checks using warehouse systems
• Supporting general warehouse operations
• Following all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT licences (both essential)
• Minimum 12 months’ FLT driving experience
• Previous warehouse experience and confidence using handheld scanners
• Basic IT skills and PC literacy
• PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) experience preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and within a team

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts: 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Pay rate: £13.47 per hour
