Job summary

The Wernick Group is seeking a Forklift Truck Driver/Yard Operative for an Inverness depot. You will operate a counterbalance FLT, move units in the yard, service Groundhog units, and assist with cleaning tasks while maintaining safety and high standards of housekeeping.

A mechanical background is desirable; training will be provided. A valid FLT license is essential, and applicants should be able to work as part of a committed team with excellent time management and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• FLT LICENSE ESSENTIAL.
• A mechanical background would be desirable but training will be given.
• Able to multi task and prioritise busy workload.

Responsibilities

• Moving units in the yard with FLT.
• Servicing of Groundhog units.
• Occasional assisting in cleaning units.
• Keeping the forklift truck in good and serviceable condition.
• Minimise material wastage.
• Ensuring safe loading and unloading of cabins / buildings and materials.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the yard and workshop at all times.
• Adhere to current health and safety legislation.
