Job summary

Nrl is recruiting for FLT Drivers and Material Handling Operatives to join a busy Sunderland logistics team on a contract running until end of January 2027. Shift work includes nights and weekends in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Candidates should have a valid FLT licence and proven warehouse or production experience, with strong safety awareness and the ability to work as part of a team. Counterbalance or reach truck experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT licence.
• Proven warehouse or production experience.
• Willingness to work on a shift pattern that includes nights and weekends.
• Strong awareness of safe working practices.
• Counterbalance and/or reach truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift trucks for material movement and stock handling.
• Load and unload goods following safety and operational procedures.
• Manage stock movements accurately within the warehouse management system.
• Support material handling, storage organisation, and product distribution.
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet targets.
• Carry out general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
