Job summary

NRL Ltd is seeking reliable FLT drivers and material handling operatives to join a busy Sunderland warehouse on a short-term contract through January 2027. The role involves shift work, including nights and weekends, and requires a safety-conscious approach in a dynamic environment.

You will operate forklift trucks, load/unload goods, and manage stock movements in the warehouse system while maintaining high health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT licence.
• Proven experience in a warehouse or production environment.
• Willingness to work on a shift pattern including nights and weekends.
• Strong awareness of safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift trucks for material movement and stock handling.
• Load and unload goods following safety procedures.
• Manage stock movements in the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Support material handling, storage organisation and product distribution.
• Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet targets.
• Carry out general housekeeping to keep a clean and safe workspace.
