Job summary

LWC Drinks Ltd – Manchester depot is seeking an FLT Driver to support daily warehouse operations.

You will handle loading/unloading, stock storage, order picking, and ensure FIFO rotation, with attention to safety and accuracy. The role requires teamwork, good communication, and flexibility to cover shifts from 0600 to 0900, Tuesday–Saturday or Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Must follow warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Able to accurately pick orders from stock locations and place for deliveries.
• Report stock issues to supervisory or stock control team.
• Ensure stock is put away in correct locations and FIFO is followed.
• Assist with stock takes when requested.
• Maintain housekeeping standards at all times.
• Fill out out-of-date/damaged stock lists and MHE records.
• Prioritise workloads and adapt to flexible shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Report to Warehouse Manager; assist day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Maintain and organize warehouse locations and stock, load/unload vehicles.
• Perform order picking and ensure correct storage of products.
• Ensure FIFO stock rotation and accurate notes.
• Assist with stock takes and housekeeping tasks.
• Complete MHE records and keep out-of-date/damaged stock lists up to date.

Job description

Job Title: FLT Driver

Reports to: Warehouse operations controller

Depot: LWC Manchester

Main Duties

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the purpose of the FLT driver will be to complete tasks which assist the day to day running of the warehouse, the upkeep of the warehouse, the organisation of warehouse locations loading and unloading of vehicles, order picking and to ensure correct storage of all products. Manual handling is one of the main elements of this role.

Key Skills

• Adheres to the warehouse health and safety procedures
• Responsible for correctly picking orders from the stock locations as directed and placing in the correct areas for deliveries
• Reporting stock issues to supervisory or stock control team
• Ensure that all stock delivered is put away in a timely manner; all stock must be put away in the correct warehouse locations, ensuring FIRST IN FIRST OUT stock rotation is adhered to and match the notes received
• Assist in the stock takes when requested
• Assist with ensuring that housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
• Filling out the correct information on the out-of-date list, damaged stock list, and MHE records
• Being able to prioritise workloads
• Flexible approach to working

Shift Pattern:

• Tuesday – Saturday / Monday – Friday.
• 9 hours shifts with start times varying from 0600 to 0900
