Job summary

LWC Drinks Ltd, Manchester depot, is seeking an experienced FLT Driver to support daily warehouse operations. You will handle loading and unloading, order picking, and stock placement to ensure accurate deliveries and efficient flow of goods.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will uphold health and safety standards, assist with stock takes, and maintain tidy, well-organised depots across shifts Tuesday to Saturday or Monday to Friday, with 9-hour shifts starting between 0600 and 0900.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load/unload vehicles and move goods

Job description

Job Title: FLT Driver Reports to: Warehouse operations controller Depot: LWC Manchester

Main Duties

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the purpose of the FLT driver will be to complete tasks which assist the day to day running of the warehouse, the upkeep of the warehouse, the organisation of warehouse locations loading and unloading of vehicles, order picking and to ensure correct storage of all products. Manual handling is one of the main elements of this role.

Key Skills

• Adheres to the warehouse health and safety procedures
• Responsible for correctly picking orders from the stock locations as directed and placing in the correct areas for deliveries
• Reporting stock issues to supervisory or stock control team
• Ensure that all stock delivered is put away in a timely manner; all stock must be put away in the correct warehouse locations, ensuring FIRST IN FIRST OUT stock rotation is adhered to and match the notes received
• Assist in the stock takes when requested
• Assist with ensuring that housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
• Filling out the correct information on the out-of-date list, damaged stock list, and MHE records
• Being able to prioritise workloads
• Flexible approach to working
