Job summary

LWC Drinks Ltd, based at our Manchester depot, is seeking a Warehouse Picker for night shifts. The role focuses on accurate order picking, correct bin-bay storage, and supporting the night team to keep stock organised and accessible.

You will work under the Warehouse Supervisor and Depot Manager, with duties including stock checks, audits, and adhering to health and safety requirements during routine warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks to assist the day-to-day running of the Warehouse and ensure the upkeep of the facility.
• Organise bin bay locations and ensure correct storage of all products.
• Assist with stock takes and weekly/ monthly stock audits.
• Follow health and safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist drivers as mate when required and support flexible workloads.

Job Title: Warehouse Picker Nights

Reports to: Night Shift Manager

Depot: Manchester

Main Duties

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse & Distribution Manager and Depot Manager, the purpose of the Warehouse Operative will be to complete tasks which assist the day to day running of the Warehouse, the up keep of the warehouse, the organisation of bin bay locations and to ensure correct storage of all products. This role involves manual handling.

Key Skills

• Adhering to good practice within the warehouse;
• Responsible for correctly picking orders and placing in the correct location for deliveries;
• Always being aware of possible stock shortages and informing the warehouse Supervisors or the managers so that they can be ordered;
• Ensure that all new stock delivered must be put away ASAP; all stock must be put away in the correct bin-bay location and match the delivery note received;
• Assist in the monthly stock takes at weekends;
• Assist with stock audits on a weekly basis;
• Filling out the correct information on the out of date list, damaged stock list (write off sheet), and fork lift and pedestrian truck records;
• Ensure that you follow the correct health and safety procedures;
• Wear the correct equipment for your job when on site, for example, safety boots, gloves, the correct high visibility vest;
• Being able to prioritise workloads;
• Flexible approach to working;
• Assisting drivers as mate as an when required.

A discretionary £2000 bonus may be granted, subject to performance against defined KPIs.
