Industrial Recruitment Solutions (IRS) is recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT Driver in West Bromwich. The role offers a temporary to permanent pathway and requires operating a Counterbalance forklift both inside and outside.

Shifts include initial training with 7:00am–4:00pm or 7:00am–2:30pm, then rotation to early or late start times. Pay starts at £12.85 per hour, with progression to permanent contracts based on performance.

Competenze

• 12 months Counterbalance FLT experience is required.
• Valid internal or external FLT licence accepted.
• Previous experience working outdoors is preferred.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
• Comfortable working in a recycling-type environment.
• Willingness to get stuck in and a positive attitude.

Mansioni

Job Description:

Industrial Recruitment Services Ltd (IRS) are currently looking for a hardworking and reliable Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client's team in West Bromwich, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.

The Role

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Working both inside and outside, so you must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• General yard and warehouse duties as required
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Working as part of a hardworking team

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months' Counterbalance FLT experience
• Valid internal or external FLT licence accepted
• Previous experience working outdoors is preferred
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Comfortable working in an recycling-type working environment
• Good attitude towards work and a willingness to get stuck in

Working Hours

Training period:

For the first couple of weeks, shifts will be:

• Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-4:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am-2:30pm

Once training is completed, shifts will rotate between:

Shift 1

• Monday-Thursday: 6:00am-3:00pm
• Friday: 6:00am-1:30pm

Shift 2

• Monday-Thursday: 9:00am-6:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am-2:30pm

Pay & Progression

• £12.85 per hour to start
• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• Pay will increase once a permanent contract is offered
