Job summary

Jonathan Lee Group is seeking an experienced FLT Driver to join a busy raw materials team in Telford. This higher-skilled role involves 75–85% forklift operation and handling heavy materials up to 2.7 tonnes.

You will unload trailers, move reels to the production line, and book stock in and out using hand-held scanners and SAP. General yard duties and delivery bookings are also part of the role. Training can be provided for preferred B2 licence and clamp conversion.

Qualifications

• Experience operating FLTs and moving heavy materials.
• Knowledge of stock control and stock booking processes.
• Ability to work safely with heavy materials up to 2.7 tonnes.

Responsibilities

• Unloading trailers and incoming deliveries.
• Transporting reels and raw materials to the production line.
• Booking stock in and out.
• Using hand-held scanners and SAP for stock control.

Location: Telford
Pay: £13.94 per hour
Shift: 4 on, 4 off – 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am
Contract: 12-week Temp-to-Permanent

We are looking for an experienced FLT Driver to join a busy raw materials team within a well-established production environment in Telford. This is a higher-skilled FLT position, with approximately 75–85% of the role involving forklift operation. You will be responsible for safely handling heavy materials weighing up to 2.7 tonnes, alongside stock control, delivery booking and general yard and warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Unloading trailers and incoming deliveries
• Transporting reels and raw materials to the production line
• Booking stock in and out
• Using hand-held scanners and SAP for stock control
• Carrying out general yard and warehouse duties
• Supporting delivery booking and associated office duties
• Ensuring heavy materials are handled safely and efficiently

What We’re Looking For:

Ideally, you will hold a B2 FLT licence with a clamp attachment conversion.

However, applications are also welcomed from candidates who:

• Hold a B1 FLT licence obtained within the last three years
• Have strong, recent FLT driving experience
• Are currently working, or have recently worked, as an FLT Driver

For the right candidate, training can be provided to obtain the B2 licence and clamp conversion.
