Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Bedford is seeking an experienced FLT Operator to join a well-established manufacturing site. The role covers operating forklift trucks safely, moving materials around the yard, and supporting production with timely stock movements.

You will work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights) and play a key part in keeping warehouse operations clean, safe and efficient in a stable, permanent position with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift trucks in warehouse/manufacturing environments.
• Valid FLT licence is required.
• Willingness to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights).
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures is essential.
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Moving raw materials, finished goods and stock around the site.
• Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries.
• Carrying out daily forklift safety checks.
• Supporting production teams with material movements.
• Maintaining accurate stock records.
• Ensuring warehouse and storage areas remain clean, safe and organised.
