Aqumen Recruitment is seeking a FLT Driver/General Operative for a busy plastic recycling and manufacturing site in Allerton Bywater.

The role is 80% production on the shop floor and 20% warehouse/FLT duties, with a 3-shift rotation (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am). It is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with training and progression prospects.

Formación

• Warehouse, factory or general operative experience.
• Experience in a physical, hands-on role.
• Some previous forklift driving experience.
• Valid FLT licence required.
• A reliable and safety-conscious approach.
• Ability to work all 3 rotating shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Feeding materials into recycling machinery.
• Preparing plastic materials for processing.
• Working around shredders, blenders and production equipment.
• Moving and organising materials.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties.
• Using a forklift when required.
• Keeping the work area clean and safe.

3-shift rotation

You must be able to work all 3 shifts:

• 6am-2pm


• 2pm-10pm


• 10pm-6am

This is not a fixed-shift or days-only role.

We're looking for people with:

• Warehouse, factory or general operative experience


• Experience in a physical, hands-on role

You need to be comfortable spending most of your shift working on the production floor, rather than driving a forklift all day.
