• Transport packaging materials efficiently and safely.
• Move finished stock and store it securely using appropriate equipment.
• Report faults or damage to the forklift immediately.
• Adhere to all plant procedures and safety protocols.
• Support manufacturing processes with timely movement of materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑shift vehicle checks to ensure the forklift is in safe working condition before each shift.
• Transport packaging materials to and from manufacturing cells efficiently and safely.
• Move finished stock and store it securely in designated areas using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Report any faults or damage to the forklift to the Team Leader or Shift Manager immediately.
• Adhere to all plant procedures and safety protocols during daily operations.
• Support manufacturing processes by ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Full Counterbalance Forklift Licence (valid and recognised in the UK).
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
• Experience working with stillages and other material handling equipment.
