Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands seeks experienced FLT Counterbalance operators for a busy manufacturing site in Dordon. The role is full-time with an afternoon shift (1400-2200) and £15.60 per hour, with overtime and a temp-to-perm route.

You will move materials safely, load vehicles, replenish lines and carry out checks in a congested Goods Out area. Applicants must hold a current counterbalance licence and show care in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• Current counterbalance licence is required.
• Minimum 18 months active FLT operation experience.
• Care in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Locating orders using a computerised inventory system and retrieving them with the Counterbalance forklift.
• If assigned a PPT role, conduct manual picks while operating the vehicle safely (certificate useful but not essential).
• Maintain strong awareness of surroundings and prioritise health & safety.
• Assist with manual loading/offloading duties as required.
• Complete despatch paperwork.
• Keep the shop floor tidy and ensure walkways are clear of debris.
