Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands is recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance operator in the Tamworth area for a busy manufacturing facility. This temp to perm opportunity requires a minimum 18 months active forklift experience and a strong focus on safety.

You will locate orders, despatch paperwork, and support goods in/out. The role offers market-leading facilities, free parking, staff holidays, private health and dental, and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months active FLT operation experience.
• Strong awareness of safety and surroundings.
• Ability to locate orders and operate computerised inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Locating orders using computerised inventory system and retrieving them with the Counterbalance forklift.
• If PPT role, perform manual picks while operating the vehicle (certificate useful but not essential).
• Maintain a high level of safety and housekeeping on the shop floor.
• Assist with manual loading/offloading duties as required and manage despatch paperwork.
