Job summary

Caterpillar is hiring an FLT Counterbalance Operative at Desford. The role offers flexible shifts (AM, PM, or Night) with full training and excellent on-site perks, supported by Randstad.

Accredited FLT licence or in-house license accepted, with 6 months of forklift experience and strong health and safety awareness. Induction, free parking, canteen facilities, and a range of benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Licence (in-house licences accepted)
• 6 months forklift driving experience
• Health and safety awareness required

Responsibilities

• Drive Counterbalance Fork Lift Trucks; predominantly truck-based with occasional non-truck duties
• Transport materials throughout the facility to points of use
• Perform general warehouse duties
• Manual handling tasks
• Use handheld scanners to locate and identify products
• Conduct pre-operation safety checks on vehicle
• Decant deliveries and pick parts
