Job summary

Caterpillar in the United Kingdom is seeking an FLT Counterbalance Operative. The role is predominantly truck-based, with occasional tasks away from the truck. You will operate forklifts, move materials around the site, and perform general warehouse duties with safety in mind.

Join via Randstad for full ongoing training, site perks, and flexible AM, PM or Night shifts. Various hours allow 4- or 5-day weeks, with Friday early finish and benefits that enhance daily work life.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT licence (in-house licences accepted).
• 6 months forklift driving experience.
• Health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance Fork Lift Trucks (predominantly truck-based).
• Transport materials around the facility to point of use.
• Carry out general warehouse duties and manual handling.
• Use handheld scanners to locate and identify products.
• Conduct pre-operation safety checks on your vehicle.
• Decant deliveries and pick parts as required.
