Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver for a long-term ongoing role in Castleford, West Yorkshire. The position offers a 4 on / 4 off rotation with night shifts from 18:00 to 06:00 and a night shift allowance of £1.87 per hour for hours 22:00-06:00.

There is a real opportunity to secure permanent employment for the right candidate. Key duties include loading/unloading palletised goods, FLT operation across the yard, yard shunting, and general warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Able to pass on-site assessment and interview.
• Reliable and hardworking attitude.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading palletised goods in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Operate FLT to move stock around the yard and warehouse.
• Support yard movements and shuttle vehicle operations.
• Assist with daily site tasks and manual handling.

Manpower is currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver (double handler preferred) to join a well-established client in Castleford/ Normanton. What You'll Be Doing

• Loading & Unloading (60%) - Safely handling palletised goods in a fast-paced environment
• FLT Operation - Moving stock efficiently across the yard and warehouse
• Yard & Shunting Duties - Supporting vehicle movements and keeping the yard organised
• General Warehouse Tasks - Assisting with daily site operations and manual handling

Shift Pattern

• 4 on / 4 off rotation
• Night shifts: 18:00 - 6:00
• Night Shift Allowance: £1.87 per hour for hours 22:00-06:00
