Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client in Castleford. You’ll handle loading and unloading operations, perform FLT movement across the yard, and support yard and general warehouse tasks in a 4 on/4 off shift pattern.

Night shifts run 18:00–06:00 with a night shift allowance. On-site parking and complimentary tea/coffee are provided, with a real opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Ability to pass on-site assessment & interview.
• Reliable, hardworking attitude.

Responsibilities

• Loading & Unloading (60%) – Safely handling palletised goods in a fast-paced environment.
• FLT Operation – Moving stock efficiently across the yard and warehouse.
• Yard & Shunting Duties – Supporting vehicle movements and keeping the yard organised.
• General Warehouse Tasks – Assisting with daily site operations and manual handling.

What You'll Be Doing

Loading & Unloading (60%) - Safely handling palletised goods in a fast-paced environment

FLT Operation - Moving stock efficiently across the yard and warehouse

General Warehouse Tasks - Assisting with daily site operations and manual handling

Shift Pattern

4 on / 4 off rotation

Night shifts: 18:00 - 6:00

Night Shift Allowance: £1.87 per hour for hours 22:00-06:00
