Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting for an FLT Driver / Warehouse operative with a Counterbalance FLT license to join on a temp-to-perm basis in Port Sunlight. The role involves working 4 days 6am–6pm, 4 off, and 4 nights 6pm–6am, with overtime after 42 hours.

You will operate in a clean, modern factory, transporting goods, wrapping finished products, and assisting in packaging and stock takes. Onsite parking and good transport links are available.

Qualifications

• Essential: current RTITB or ITTSAR Counterbalance FLT license.
• At least 12 months FLT experience.
• Experience in a busy production environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods from production to warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Ensure finished goods are wrapped to customer specifications and report defects.
• Store finished goods in correct lanes and ensure correct documentation is loaded.
• Supply production with packaging and remove sub-standard material.
• Carry out a twice-weekly packaging stock take.
• Handle pump truck and perform general warehouse duties.

Pay Rate: £13.68 per hour + overtime after 42 hours @ £20.52 per hour

As FLT Driver / Warehouse operative you will be working in a clean, bright and modern factory environment undertaking any of the following duties:

• Transport finished goods from the Production area for storage in the Warehouse in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure that all finished goods entering the Warehouse are wrapped to the customers' specification and report any defects to Supervision.
• Store finished goods in the correctly identified lanes.
• Check that finished goods are loaded to the correct specified documentation.
• Supply the Production Department with the correct packaging at all times removing sub-standard material.
• Carry out an accurate, twice weekly, packaging stock take
• This role also involves handling the pump truck and general warehouse duties
