Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a reliable FLT Operator to join a friendly warehouse team in Lancaster. You will operate FLT Counterbalance, Bendi or Pivot trucks, load and unload vehicles, move stock, and assist with packing and dispatch to help keep operations smooth and safe.

Training is provided with rotating shifts after the period, and you’ll benefit from weekly pay, online payslips, and access to perks at work, plus ongoing training to support your development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (Bendi, Pivot or Reach experience advantageous).
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and proactive approach to work.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts after the training period.

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT Counterbalance, Bendi or Pivot trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles according to operational requirements.
• Move stock accurately throughout the warehouse.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Carry out goods-in and goods-out duties.
• Complete daily FLT safety checks and report defects.
• Assist with stock control and inventory checks.
• Ensure products are stored correctly and locations are maintained.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Support the wider warehouse team to achieve productivity targets.

Are you an experienced FLT Counterbalance, Bendi or Pivot Truck Operator looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting for a reliable and hardworking FLT Operator to join a friendly warehouse team. Working Hours

Training Period:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

After Training: Rotating shifts:

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Operating FLT Counterbalance, Bendi or Pivot trucks safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles in line with operational requirements
• Moving stock accurately throughout the warehouse
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Carrying out goods-in and goods-out duties
