Job summary

Swift Temps South West is recruiting an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver for a builders merchant client in Bideford. This temp-to-perm role with an ASAP start offers long-term prospects for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include operating a counterbalance forklift, loading/unloading, stock movement, and order preparation in a busy yard environment. Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, paying £13.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence essential.
• Previous counterbalance forklift experience.
• Experience in yard/warehouse/builders merchant advantageous.
• Good awareness of Health & Safety.
• Reliable and hardworking.
• Available to start ASAP.
• Comfortable with manual handling and working outdoors when required.

Swift Temps South West is recruiting an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver for an established builders merchant client based in Bideford. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an ASAP start available for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving and organising stock within the yard and warehouse
• Preparing customer orders
• Supporting general yard and warehouse duties when required
• Working in a busy builders merchant environment
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am5:00pm
• £13.75 per hour

What Were Looking For:

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence essential
• Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience
• Previous yard, warehouse or builders merchant experience would be advantageous
• Good awareness of Health & Safety
• Reliable and hardworking
• Comfortable with manual handling and working outdoors when required
• Available to start ASAP
