Job summary

Pertemps Manchester is recruiting an experienced FLT Driver for a major logistics supplier based in Trafford Park. This Temp to Perm role offers a monthly-long chance for a permanent position after a 12-week trial, with rotating 4-on, 4-off shifts from 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am.

Location is Trafford Park; pay is £14.33 per hour with overtime at £19.04 per hour over 48 hours. All successful candidates will complete a site induction and FLT assessment before starting.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence - Essential.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience operating a double pallet forklift is preferred, training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts and other MHE.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Move and organise stock within the warehouse using Counterbalance truck.
• Operate double pallet forklifts where required (Training will be provided).
• Pick, pack and stage customer orders.
• Complete routine forklift and equipment safety checks.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Follow all company health & safety procedures.
• Ensure stock is handled accurately and safely at all times.

FLT Driver - Temp to Perm role | Trafford Park

Location: Trafford Park

Pay Rate: £14.33 per hour and Overtime rate is £19.04p/h over 48 hours a week

Shifts: 4on 4off rotating with 2days shift (7am to 7pm) and 2 Nights shift (7pm to7am)

The RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join a major logistics supplier based in Trafford Park.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for Temp to Perm full time work within a fast-paced warehouse environment. There is also the potential for a long-term position following a successful temporary period of 12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklifts and other MHE.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

Break Information: 75 minutes total — 3 × 15-minute breaks and 1 × 30-minute break.
